Dr. Sachin Rahi
Dr. Sachin Rahi recently joined as an Assistant Professor in the School of Biomedical Engineering, IIT(BHU) Varanasi, in 2026. He was a recipient of the prestigious Indo-German Science & Technology Centre (IGSTC) Post-doctoral Industrial Fellowship 2024 award for doing industrial research at Airbus, Munich, Germany, where he worked for about one year. Right after completing his tenure at Airbus, he was awarded an Institute Postdoctoral Fellowship at IIT Kharagpur, where he worked before joining to IIT(BHU) Varanasi. He completed his Ph.D. in electrical engineering from IIT Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India, in 2024. During this time, he worked on flexible organic transistors for e-textile and memory applications. His research interests include flexible and wearable devices for memory, circuit, and sensing applications. Before joining to Ph.D., he worked as a Teaching Assistant at SVNIT, Surat, India, in 2018-2019. He received his M.Tech. degree in electronics and communication engineering from IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, Dhanbad, India, in 2018, and B.E. degree in electronics and communication engineering from Medi-caps Institute of Technology and Management, Indore, in 2014. He has published more than 25 research articles.

Ph.D. positions are available in our research group for candidates who meet the required eligibility criteria. Interested applicants should follow the official admission guidelines of IIT (BHU) for the Ph.D. program.
For Post-doctoral Positions:
I am open to hosting postdoctoral researchers who are interested in applying for fellowships from various funding agencies, such as ANRF-NPDF, CSIR, DST, DBT-RA, ICMR, IPDF, etc., subject to the suitability of the candidate.
