Dr. Prateek Ranjan Yadav
Our research group focuses on the computational modelling of medical devices, device–tissue interactions, and benchtop testing. We use finite element analysis (FEA), computational fluid dynamics (CFD), and multiphysics simulations to study soft tissue mechanics, fluid–structure interactions, and transport phenomena. Our research supports the design and optimisation of next-generation biomedical technologies. We work across the entire innovation pipeline, from concept development and computational design to experimental validation. Our goal is to develop reliable computational tools that support research, product development, and regulatory decision-making.
Prior to joining IIT (BHU), Prateek was a Marie Curie Postdoctoral Fellow at University College Dublin, Ireland for 3 years. He obtained his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from IIT Delhi, where his research focused on computational modelling and optimization of advanced drug delivery systems.
