CoE Infrastructure
  • Four labs have been set up in the centre.
  • Following equipment have been received at centre as part of the CoE facility for testing and characterization of refractories materials in the various labs:
    • High Temperature furnace having temperature 1400, 1600°C (4 nos)
    • Spalling resistance furnace @1400°C
    • Static corrosion facilities
    • Universal testing machine having capacity 50, 500 and 2000KN (3 nos)
    • Roll Crusher
    • Jaw Crusher
    • Core drilling Machine
    • Diamond Cutter
    • Castable Vibrating Table
    • PCE / RUL
    • UV Spectroscopy
    • Flame Photometer
  • This facility will intensify the capacity building and research collaboration with academic and industrial organizations.
  • The facility will help in revenue generation and thereby make the CoE sustainable.
