1. Through Alumni Giving back Portal [INDIAN ALUMNI]
Keeping in mind the importance and support of its alumni, the IIT(BHU), Varanasi announced the launch of its dedicated online giving back portal in May’ 2022 from where any Indian alumni ;may contribute an amount as per the details provided on the portal for the progress and support of his/her alma- mater. The contributions received in this bank account of the Institute shall be utilized by the Institute for Infrastructure development or students/ faculty/ staff welfare as per choice of the donors.
Apart from Govt. support, alumni may play an important role in strengthening the academic and research eco-system of their alma-mater. Giving back by the alumni to his/her alma-mater is a great way to keep the legacy going and ensure that future generations of students have the opportunity to pursue quality higher education.
IIT (BHU), Varanasi expects its alumni to extend their support by contributing through above portal. All the donations to IIT(BHU), Varanasi are exempted U/S 80G of I-Tax Act of Government of India.
After making any donation through above portal, kindly inform through email at resource@iitbhu.ac.in, with cc to dora@iitbhu.ac.in for generating the contribution receipt which will be sent through email/speed post:
Note: NRI Alumni may contribute to different bank account as per details given on the portal.
