VLSI Architecture and Chip Design

The M.Tech in VLSI Architecture and Chip Design at IIT (BHU) is designed to provide in-depth knowledge and expertise in the field of Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) and semiconductor chip design. This specialization covers the entire spectrum of VLSI system design, from circuit design to chip architecture, including EDA tools, fabrication technologies, and design methodologies. This program prepares students to contribute to the rapidly evolving semiconductor industry and the nation’s semiconductor goals/mission.

The curriculum is designed to balance theoretical foundations with hands-on experience, incorporating industry-standard tools for IC design and implementation. Graduates from this program will be equipped for careers in semiconductor companies, R&D organizations, and academia, driving innovations in next-generation electronic systems.
