Dr. Pradip Kumar Roy born in July 1980 in Burdwan district of West Bengal. He has completed his B.Tech. & Ph.D. in Ceramic Engineering from N.I.T. - Rourkela in 2003 & 2009 respectively. He was in the industry for 6 years (Crompton Greaves Ltd., Mumbai) as a Deputy Manager-R&D while leaving. During his industrial period, he did his MBA in operations from United Business Institutes, Brussels, Belgium. He has started teaching career from B.I.T.-Mesra, Ranchi in 2012. Presently, Dr. Roy is associated with I.I.T. (BHU) as Assistant Professor since 2014. Current research interests are in the field of Magnetic & Ferroelectric Ceramics, Varistors, Nano Materials, Refractories, Waste Management. He has published more than 22 research papers in international journals, 24 Indian patents and presented 44 research papers in national/international conferences. He is the reviewer of more than 30 International/National Journals and Conferences. He is a Certified Chattered Engineer by British Council, UK.
