Specialization: Green Energy Physics and Solid State Ionics

  • Group is working on development and studies of the anode, cathode and electrolyte materials for Solid Oxide Fuel Cells, cost- effective perovskite solar cells and green piezo-multiferroic materials and glass ceramics with possibility of MEMS applications respectively with a preamble of green solution in energy sector.
  • Exploring use of Piezoelectric and Pyroelectric (including ferroelectric and multiferroic) materials for energy harvesting applications and in the memory devices.
  • Modeling promising energy harvesting materials, renewable energy sources, graphene quantum dots, graphene nano-ribbons, design of efficient materials and processes for solar photovoltaic cells and nano-electronic devices using time dependent Density Functional Theory.
