The Sustainability Development Centre (SDC), in collaboration with the Centre for Faculty Development and Educational Technology of the institute, periodically organizes several training programs, workshops, etc., to create awareness of the Global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs 2030) for the institute's community and other stakeholders. It also employs the open-source Sustainability Impact Assessment (SIA) tool (provided by Wexsus & SDSN) to assess the sustainability literacy of the institute's community and other stakeholders, identify knowledge gaps, make strategic action plans to fill them and disseminate sustainability knowledge to the communities through more focused training programs and other sustainability-related (economic, social and environmental) activities.
We assess the sustainability literacy of Faculty members, Students and Staff every year.
