Dr. Sanjay Singh is an associate professor at the School of Material Science and Technology, IIT-BHU. He did his M. Sc. from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore (2006) and Ph.D. from UGC-DAE Consortium for Scientific Research, Indore (2012).  He was a postdoctoral fellow at Photon Factory, KEK, Japan (2012-2013)  and Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics, Kolkata.  He worked as a prestigious Alexander von Humboldt postdoctoral fellow at University of Duisburg-Essen, Germany and Max-Planck Institute for chemical physics of Solids (MPI-CPfS) Dresden, Germany (2014-2016) and as Max Planck Fellow in MPI-CPfS, Dresden, Germany (2016) before he joined in SMST at 2016. He has published more than 60 papers in peer reviewed international journals including high impact journal like Advanced Materials, Phys. Rev. Lett., Nature Communications., Phys. Rev. B, Appl. Phys. Letts. etc. He has received the  Young Scientist Medal (considered as best young scientist award in India) from Indian National Science Academy and selected as member of Indian National Young Academy of Science (2021-2025).
