The dhanrajgiri-2 hostel is the newest boy’s hostel inaugurated in May 2022 atIIT (BHU) Varanasi. It is a 7-floor building with 402rooms, and 6 lifts which can accommodate more than 1200 students at a time. The hostel has 2 big messes which are sufficient enough to accommodate all the students. The hostel is very peaceful and rooms are properly ventilated to live and study peaceably. There are beautiful gardens within the premises. Students can spend leisure time in 6 common rooms equipped with televisions and indoor games like Table Tennis, Chess, and Carrom. The hostel has high-speed wi-fi as well as LAN internet facility for all the rooms. Movements of visitors, as well as students, are recorded by CCTV regularly.
