  Overall supervision of all the administrative work/duties to be taken care of by the office of the Dean (R&D). To keep watch & maintain all kind of records including letters & correspondence related with the office of the Dean (R&D). To keep keen watch & to ensure timely initiation of suitable action as well disposal of daily Dak/letters etc. To keep records of all important Notices / Circulars /Office orders etc. in a Guard file for ready references.
All the official works relate with DIH / DIC projects such as preparation of sanction letter appointment letter, various permission letters etc. and maintenance of financial records such as allotment register, sanction register and detailed accounts of the funds and other work which relates to DIH General Project and Varanasi Project. To work as “Custodian of Records” and to maintain proper records in such a manner as required under provisions of RTI Act 2005. To ensure issuance of Unique Invoice number on Tax Invoices at the earliest. To prepare challan of applicable taxes to be deposited such as GST and forwarding the bills to concerned Finance Office for further action and maintain records of Testing and Consultancy To keep a watch on payments of Taxes and get the Return(s) of applicable tax i.e GST prepared in a timely fashion and to ensure its timely deposition in relevant Govt account. To prepare disposal letter of RTI applications related with above assignments in accordance to the guideline of RTI Act 2005 and to provide information under section 5(4) of RTI Act 2005. To handle/take care of all the correspondence of and to put up email requests to a concerned official for further orders, if required. To keep sharp eyes on the work assigned to office assistants and ensure its disposal within the timeline as defined in Institute Citizen Charter.

Cross verification of the financial figures entered in Testing / Consultation Register. Maintenance of Accounts of above kind of grants in detailed format. Any other work and typing work as assigned by the JS, AR and Dean.
