Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi invites online applications for admission to Ph.D. Programmes of Even Semester of the Academic Session 2021-22.

IMPORTANT The online portal is available for submission of applications from 02 November 2021 at 1200 hrs to 16 November 2021 at 1700 hrs.

Refund of Fee:
 After deduction of Rs. 10,000/- towards seat retention before date of registration.
 Only caution money shall be refunded on or after date of registration.
Process for getting refund
  1. Student has to write an application to concerned Head of the Department/Coordinator of the School (either in mail of hard copy) stating reasons for withdrawal from the programme.
  2. Note: The mail ID should be the official mail ID as provided in the application form.
  3. Student must attach the following documents along with his/her application:
    1. Admission offer Letter.
    2. Fee deposition receipt.
    3. Address where to post the fee refund cheque.
    4. One Identity card (preferably Aadhar/PAN Card).
  4. Student will receive the cheque at the address given by him/her.
  5. The Complete process normally taken 45 days for completion.
