| Biodata | BRIEF BIO-DATA After graduating from I.T. BHU in 1971, I completed M.Tech. & Ph.D. in Metallurgical Engg. from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur in 1974 & 1979 respectively. I joined Research & Development Centre of Steel Authority of India ,Ranchi as Research Engg. in 1979 . Then after changing a few organizations I joined Defence Research & Development (DRDO) at Kanpur in 1984 as scientist. I got superannuated from the same as Additional Director (Scientist ‘G’) in May,2010. I spent one year of my stay i.e. from 1988 to 1989 in Madrid , Spain as visiting scientist in a very reputed institute of Spain. Immediately after superannuation from DRDO, I have taken over as the Director of one of the Engg. Colleges at Kanpur and continuing in it since then. I completed my Ph.D. work in Fracture Mechanics and have published many International and National research papers in this as well as in many other research areas of Metallurgical Engg. and Material Science. I have received a few national level awards based on these papers.During my stay in DRDO, I have developed many items for Defence usages and have received a few awards for these developments. I have developed recoil fluid for Bafor’s Gun and a new cleaning solution for all types of Guns. I have filled four PATENTS based on these developments |
