Event Details

Doctoral Symposium will be an event consisting of short oral presentations (10 minutes) followed by poster presentations.Undisclosed judges will evaluate all presenters based on their oral and poster presentation for the Best Presentation Award. We plan to have the selected proceedings published through ACM and have it available in ACM Digital library.

Submission Guidelines

1. Research Proposal (a 5-page write-up) in standard ACM format (Check here)
2. Curriculum Vitae
3. Advisor's Recommendation Letter

The research proposal must include the clear problem statement of the research with motivation (preferably with examples), scientific and technical approach, and the results obtained so far. Sufficient information should be provided for the chairs and the review board to judge the merit of the research. The submission should highlight the name of the author.

Though this symposium is primarily targeted towards PhD students, exceptional BS and MS students who have formulated a research project and obtained some good results will also be considered and hence are encouraged to apply. A student is defined as anyone who is a full time student at the time of submission in any university or institute.
